This is my first portfolio piece that I made at The Game Assembly. For this piece i decided to interpret Tooth Wu´s concept for one of their abyssal dwarves and make it into a 3D model (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/18govL).
I worked on this piece for 6 weeks half time. The mood and subject reminded me of the Bioshock franchise so this is sort of my homage to the game-series. The translation from 2D to 3D was a bit harder than anticipated but still a lot of fun. I made most of the hard-surface highpoly parts in Maya, and the fabrics, organics and ropes in Zbrush.
