Homo Arachnid

This is the third portfolio piece I made at The Game Assembly. I worked on this for four weeks half time. The Idea for the concept all derived from a discussion with a friend of what spiderman logically "should" look like. After that the concept sort of snow-balled into this. The first decision to get the spider silhuette was to add a second elbow to the arms. After that I decided to add the stinger (even though it´s not somthing spiders generally have) and later I played around with adding more eyes but decided against it as the blank face gave a more unnerving impression. The environment is all taken from quixel megascan and set up in unreal engine 5.
I had so much fun working on this and I want to thank my teachers and classmates for all the help and feedback!
Lastly I want to give a big thanks to my fellow student Gopal Alvarez who made the rig. Check out his other stuff here: https://www.gopalalvarez.com/
