This is my second portfolio piece that I made at The Game Assembly. I worked for four weeks half time on this. I started with the bird using nanomesh in Zbrush to create the overlapping featherpatches. After that I used a model from a previous anatomy assignment as a base for the rider. Lastly I made the spear because I wanted to push the post-apocalyptic feel of the scene.
